Keeping Busy

I have retired from a fizzle of a career in Biotech (emphasis on 'tech').  I am now the full time care provider for my daughter.  We have the best time together.  Where does the time go?  Not to taking photographs.  :)

Free View

I'm going to start putting up my 'Free View' Series.  There are not many, but I really enjoyed the project and am excited to share.  I've learned that the percent of people who can see the 3D images without a stereoscope are very few, unfortunately.  I had taken it for granted, I can see them quite naturally, without much effort (As a note, I can not see those old computer images that if you look at them long enough you see a hidden image in 3D, so I think the process is different).  But I learned quickly when I hung my free views for display that only a handful of viewers are able to make them work.  Well, if you decide you want to put the t

Manic

I am still figuring things out around here, making my share of newbie mistakes (Sorry for Manic with no boarder image being so large in the big view…I tried to update it with a smaller pic but it does not replace the old large one for some reason…and I don't want to delete it and add it again because I don't want to loose people's comments (hey, if you took the time to share your insight then I am not going to get rid of it). I'm still not sure what a devpack is for?? Thank you for viewing my art.  I have to admit that it is easy to feel insignificant and unconfident in this group, but I hope that I can grow.  This community is th

Thanx for the :+fav: and comment on "Blue Drive [link] " and the comments on " Flowers for You [link] and "Flight School [link] !"

Blue drive was a bit of work, the actual HD platter was too reflective, so I replaced it digitally with an "AOL CD" which has a less reflective surface, which allowed me to "shine" and color it.

In "Flowers for You" the flowers were shot in a studio enviroment and were actuallly a small part of another photo. They were taken into Photo Shop where I created the background using zoom and blur filters over several layers.

Your interpitation of "Flight School" is wonderful! I'm totally flattered that you were able to capture so much from it. The unusual thing about "Flight School" is the positive comments I've gotten from the female deviants so far. I was worried it might come across as a cheezy exploitation when my goal was to portray an expression of freedom one achieves from learning.

Thanx again for all the wonderful comments, I don't know how I'll be able to respond in kind.
Hey! Another 3D guy!... cool beans...
